2008 AOF NATIONALS
Come join us as Stateline Outboard Racing Association plays host to the 2008 AOF Nationals at Cascade Park in Moses Lake, Washington! Racing for Nationals will be scheduled for Saturday with Sunday available as either a blow-off day or additional race day. Testing will be available on Friday, scheduled to start about noon. * I would like to start off by thanking the few people that came to the February meeting. Remember it is your club and your participation is needed.
* The Board approved the estimated budget for the 2008 race season.
* Terry Fiorelli discussed running an ad in the newspaper at Moses Lake to see if we can get a few people in the area to sell our magazine ads to promote the nationals. More info. on this to come, good luck Terry, great idea.
* Just a couple of reminders:
1. We should all be
working on getting those ad sales for the magazine. The deadline for those to be
turned in is April 1st. If you need any last years magazines as a sample,
or any order forms please let me know either email me at tk.baker@yahoo.com or call me at (208)835-4730 and I will get that to you.
* Membership drive is now on. I have the current AOF and SLORA applications. I will have them at the next meeting. Please try and register early so Elk River isn't a nightmare for me.
* Fund raising ideas, we talked about a car wash, a meet and greet, and a bake sale. We are in need of some ideas. We also need to start looking at when and where and with who. Please bring your thoughts to the meeting or sign up to volunteer for these upcoming events.
